电影《凯利的英雄们》拍摄于1970年，由米高梅电影公司出品。导演布赖恩·G·赫顿是以喜剧方式来拍摄这部战争冒险片的，这种尝试的效果并不理想，不过几位主角均有鲜明个性，表演不错，尤其是伊斯特伍德的表演更是受到观众好评，加上故事情节异想天开、主题歌相当好听，仍使该片维持了一定的娱乐性。
