Nice pictures.  Lupo, stay more at the Whistler side for the next 2 weeks.  They are going to close Whistler soon and only keep Blackcomb opens till end of May.

It is true that the sun was pretty strong last weekend.  Sunblock is a much.

Also from spring time thru out the whole summer, watch out for speed traps on the sea-to-sky highway. They are many of them last weekend.  发表于 2012-4-10 13:30

We saw two black bear cubs last Sunday.  One was along the highway between Squamish and Whistler, no big deal.  The 2nd one was running across a ski run below the lift chair.  Amazing!!  We were on the chair that time.  Even though we all know there are bears living in the trees, this was the first time I saw them up close.  Last time I saw two when I was riding the gondola up.

Lupo, in case you want to know which run was that, it was "Free fall" close to the bottom of Springboard.

If you see bear cubs, angry bear mom won't be too far away. Be careful.  发表于 2012-5-9 21:09

Snowrider, I recalled a conversation with David recently.  He mentioned if we stay mostly on groom runs, we will (eventually) picking up more and more speed.  Given our age and physical, the risk is just too high.  Staying in the bump is another way to satisfy ourselves since it doesn't build up much speed and it is equally tough if not more.  And if you fall, you aren't hitting the tree over 30 km/h.  Make sense to you?
