during warm up run, I jump side way to left, in the end I fell on ground because I can't lift my left foot. Luckily the court is smooth, no bruise and bleeding. I blame the Tennis shoes. Quite different from my running shoes. It is good for stop but not for run and jump.
Warm up practice, one always plays down the line, the other always plays cross court. Both have to keep running. I like this exercise.
Slice, need not only brush the ball but also push forward. Back hand, fore hand. Expect the ball goes low with low bounce.
Drop shot, back hand, fore hand. Expect ball drops just over net.
Last 10 min. Play single. I lost all 3 games play with different students. I was trying to use new skills at wrong time. It has been long time I have not play singles. I did not focus on watching where opposite was trying to play. Serving is okay.
Last Friday, I attended social at BTC as guest (I have not registered with any club so far). Hit balls with people and played first doubles game in this season for 2.5hrs.
Last Sunday I served 120 balls as 1st serve. The success rate was about 70-75%
