2013/2014季第七至第九滑--2
Day 2
I thought the lift opens at 8:30am so I get up at 7:30am. My roommate is a white less friendly, less smart younger lady. We seems have nothing in common, I am in and out along. But it is easy to get a fun partner at breakfast or pool even I am not a socialized person. Most of people are very friendly. I was on the lift about 8:40am and had 3 runs before the lesson at 9:30am. Today our instructor is Mary, my bus seatmate. This is Saturday. We spent more time on waiting lift and read trial map. Before lunch we only had another 5 runs. My knees were a little rusted. I did not go as fast as Yesterday. I had a fall. There are a lot of people in K1 lounge. We could not find table. Thanks a member got a table for us. I ate a piece of pizza. After lunch, same as Yesterday, we went to Ramhead ski on blue and green trials. Mary ski with us for a while. In the end it was still Zrinka and me. I plan to try a blue glide in my last run. It is okay at beginning. But it was getting awful soon after. I feel I don't know ski at all there. Nobody saw how silly，how embarrassed I was! I started about 3:20pm. After I got out of the glide return to the base, the lift has been closed. I got a lot of sweater. Back to hotel, I changed swimming suite, jumped into hot pool. It was no wind today. I did not feel cold even stand out of the pool with bath towel. In the pool, Anne told me the lift open at 8:00am. They took 7:50am shuttle bus to catch early runs. She is a passionate young lady in 30s, mother of 2 kids. I heard she ski very well about STEP 9. The funny thing is she has same brand skis and boots that I have. She thought I should be a good skier as her. The dinner was on time today. Zrinka told me after I went to the blue glide, she was sit in coffee shop waiting for me until she saw me return to Snowshed base. What a kindness woman she is! Ray asked me join in his table. There were also Terry, Tajiyana and Mike couple. I can not imagine Ray has retired for a long time. We have a good chat during dinner time. There is a band perform in the bar. They told me it is old music, unfortunately I don't know them at all. Had a dance with Ray, then I went back room.
