June 8 & 9, 2013: Li-Ning CPBF Team Mixer
CPBF is excited that it will be hosting its second fundraising team event tournament on June 8 & 9th, 2013. The tournament will take place in Mississauga at the Lee's Badminton Training Centre.
Tournament Format:
•Round robin to determine flight rounds (Pools will be divided into AM and PM group for the first day)
•Semi-Finals: A, B, C, D (knockout round to be played on the second day)
•Finals: A, B, C, D
Team and Match Formats:
•4 - 7 players per team
•Gender make up of team is irrelevant. Teams can be made up of all women, all men, or a combination of both as advantage equalizers will be used.

•Advantage Equalizers:
WS vs. MS: 8 - 0
WD vs. MD: 8 - 0
WD vs. MXD: 5 - 0
MXD vs. MD: 5 - 0
•Ties are best of 4 matches; 1 singles, 3 doubles/mixed doubles with a golden set if there is a draw.

•Each player must play at least 1 match. No player can play more than 2 matches per tie (except in the golden set). The same pair cannot play twice in the same tie (except in the golden set).
Entry:
•        Registration opens April 5th, 2013
•        Early bird entry fee: $300 per team (early bird deadline Friday, May 3rd, 2013)
•        Entry fee: $350 per team
•        Entry Deadline: Friday, May 17th, 2013
**Entry fees include tournament t-shirts for each team member, and shuttles (1 tube) for each team**
