to follow up on 265 (aman), my understanding that absorption is for speed control and minimization of upper body position variance, so ultimately each obsorption we do would be a balance of these two effort. On a scale of 100, if speed control takes up 90, body position control would take only 10, that means much more work would be done to control the speed, with the speed under control, body position/balance could be achieved relatively easier. ==> most of the time I put 90 on speed control but my body still goes all over the place, that simply tells that my 100 is probably 40 to 50 of the 100 that is needed, so 90 of 40 is only 36 which effectively means 64 effort on balance is required but only 10 of 4 = 4 is provided. this explains how jluo always end up flat on the side of the run.
