Yeah we went up C several times but we went straight up once as well.  C is nice becuase we saw another face of the mountain - the soleil  side like you said.  You can also bike down the north side in the old days but maybe they disallowed that now.   I really enjoyed the hiking.  Used to go at least once a year.   Whe fall comes the whole mountain is red and yellow.  Quite a sight.  You can also hike from the top to the Edge also to the Johanson peak.   We walked down Nansen one year but i find coming down more tiring than walking up.

The photo I took was exactly from the L'Petit Train du Nord" winding thru Tremblant old village. In my view, this is the most wonderful bike trail in the world.

Yeah. You are right Ski lover!   Now you say that I recognize it is the trail next to Lac  Mercier( Lac mercier in the photo with a view to the church and houses in old Village) and the trail will climb up the hill after the Lake and pass a two lane  highway and then goes downhill to Conception.  After that You pass a road and you can coninue to ride and will reach a nice place for lunch - an organizc farm called I think Les Milfueilies (the thousand leaves - named after a plant which you can make tea from)  They served nice summer drinks and wonderful sandwiches and salad - you have edible flowers on the salad - like little violets or violas. You can also camp out there.   We often stopped over there to have lunch and then rode back to Mount Trembalnt.  If you keep going you will reach Label.   I loved that trail and had taken many of my friends and also my doggies (on a baby trailer) many times.   I highly recommend that trail.

You are absolutley right.  This is where I took the photo.

The further north section starting from Nomininque (km145) is even more stunning... i did a lot of great photos a few years ago.  The best photo scenes come from blue sky. If anyone goes, make sure to pick a sunny day with lots of sunscreens.

I have not gone beyond La Bel. So I will like to do that section someday.  My old ski school director has a cottage up that way.  It must be beautiful.  Quebec is really La belle province!

If you go, skip the section from Labelle to Nominique which is a boring and hard peddling - there is a big free parking lot right at Nominique by the lake just off route 117..... when you reach Mont Laurier and come back... the beautiful  feel is beyond any words that can describe.  I have done it many times: some I did it alone and some with friends.

蒙大阿,这个你得跟我学了,8岁我就能前后各带一麻袋白菜,还是掏梁骑的。要不,咱们互相学习,您破例收个男弟子?
