Vacouver is so blessed wth playgrounds. There is also Mount Seymour! That one is so close - go up to North Vancouver and you will be there in no time. I took my first chair ride up there. It was so beautiful and on the chair - it was so quiet.
.... agree that north van people are even more lucky - however they also experience more rain.
