Kicking Horse’s base area cafeteria is very good, they not only offer French fries but also Yam fries. The soup and meal are also very delicious. They have microwave at second floor and the second floor is unique compare to other ski resort lodge. From lodge’s big window, everyone can watch people skiing down the slope and that’s beautiful .

Although this year snow condition over there is even better than last year, but it’s hard to go there. Due to the avalanches control, the road to kicking horse has been close quite often . I think that
most weekend on Jan 2011,only local people can enjoy the beauty of kicking horse.

there are only 2 suite in the lodge on top of the mountoun which is around 1500 cad/per night , i saw a couple had wedding  there, so Romantic !
