The good news is that Heavenly is scheduled opening 18-19 ski season on Nov 16, and Squaw Valley has announced the opening on the same day; the bad news is, it has no moistures insight for the next 10 days. Luvski, we need your敲木魚and snow praying more, thanks.

太浩湖秋天有個特色，那就是樹葉變色，金黃色的楊/aspens、柳/willows，紅色/咖啡色的橡樹/oaks及各式各樣的小灌木有各式各樣的顏色，參雜著黑、綠色的松樹，風景很好看，是太浩湖一年最漂亮的時候。



同時，太浩湖魰魚/kokanee回Taylor Creek產卵，盛時是整條河都是魚。





但是，今年沒有；大部份的樹葉沒有變色就枯掉了，魚也只有小貓兩、三隻，景色，就跟這論壇一樣的，“有氣沒力” 的樣子 ，沒有什麼好看的；而我現在也是“巧婦難為無米之炊” ，沒有什麼新的事件可以報告的。

等下天亮陪我小貓咪去“狩獵” ，等滑雪，日子還是要過的。

Thanks for the snow dance, snow has come; Heavenly reported receiving close to two feet of snow from the past storms, thou skiing conditions are not so great, but enough to get the season going. And more snow storms forecasted coming next week.

See you guys on the mountains; gone skiing.

It is not her first time on the snow (she doesn’t like to walk on snow much), but it is her first time hunt on the snow, and she heard the squirrel minutes before the squirrel appeared on that corner of the tree, good show.

Blue is two years old now, just passes her birthday; guess she wants to celebrate it in a bold way; I admire her courage and strength, or just her stubbornness? Then she has to spend her first full-night out 50 feet up in a tree, scary, poor thing. Haven’t seen her made same mistake twice; hopefully she learns this one, we’ll see.
