Our thinking makes huge difference to the kind of result we will get when beset with a problem. This actually applies to all aspects of our life. If you continually focus your attention on successful outcome, chances are you tend to attract more of it. If you focus exclusively on failures, you will meet with failure. So the key words are "Focus" and "Success". Just recently when I was asking my friend who is a better skier all around why I did this and that wrong, he simply put "Build on Success, not analyzing failure". Yes, I needed that reminder. Memorize what you did and felt right and repeat that in your mind constantly, block out and ignore anything you did and felt wrong. If it was a bad run, shake it off your system. Close your eyes, pick the best run in your life out of your memory, re-experience it in your mind first, then focus on how you body felt it, chances are you will seek it out again and again in action. How our body react is a miracle, it reacts to just where our focus is. |
