惠斯勒给我的回信，大雪场就是不一样的！
Hello, thanks for your email.  We will begin selling next year’s Season’s Pass & EDGE Cards, along with our Spring 2012 Pass add-ons, on Thursday March 29.   You will be able to purchase online, over the phone or in person at Guest Relations.  If you become employed at Whistler Blackcomb,  you would be refunded a portion of the pass depending on when you are hired and the number of days used.

A Special Announcement from Eddie Wood
We are proud to announce the installation of a new high speed Doppelmayr quad chairlift, replacing the current Mystery Peak chairlift. The $5M high speed lift features the latest in technology and has been designed to allow guests to load and unload easier, whilst completing the ride time to the top in just a few minutes. Best of all, guests will enjoy more time on the slopes skiing and snowboarding.

The new high speed lift follows the successful installation of the Goldie Magic Carpet and demonstrates our commitment to providing guests with the best on mountain experience.

We are taking the time today to let all of our valued staff know about the new lift, as it heralds an exciting time for Mt Seymour with the first high speed chair in the mountain's history. We will make a public announcement tomorrow, Tuesday April 3rd and would appreciate you keeping the news between you and your families in the meantime.

Removal of the current lift will begin the day after we close, Monday April 16. Construction of the new lift will be underway in June and completed in time for the 2012-2013 season.

We look forward, even more, to next season and to working with you in being a part of history, unveiling the new Mystery Peak Express.

最后一天工作
最后一天工作，检查雪鞋卡扣BOA钮扣固定器DIN值安全检查，一切都和平日一样，多了一些工友之间的祝福，留电话等等。Rentals的大领导Alex特意邀请我和母西瓜去他雪场的家喝下午茶，问了一下明年是否回来等等话题，看来我们两个还是好员工，一个被评为全雪场最容易饥饿员工，一个是雪场指导员最讨厌客人。聊天得知Alex原籍多伦多附近，当年的他意气风发为了圆自己freestyle的梦想来到惠斯勒，参加了好几届夏天的训练营，结果有一次意外把腿摔断了，然后才到Seymour工作。说到雪场内房子，他说有一百万加币的话，一定加一个露天Spa好好保养等等。我也很想对他说，我家刚刚弄丢20个一百万加币F！对了，他们家的狗，那只带着Seymour雪场季卡还有照片的狗，最讨厌的人竟然是我们另外一个经理Bob。
非常谢谢Alex能够给我机会，让我在Seymour学习了解雪场，也让我真真进入滑雪产业。

失败的爱情
Roman是我们rentals的小帅哥，经常有小姑娘背后说他帅被其他工友听见。但是每次他对某位雪场美女有意思之后，都会被其他人捷足先登。比如，喜欢单妮鸥就马上被催是登泡了。这次是lisa，结果又被单板指导员丹铿先一步。我告诉他这个消息的时候，他很不屑的说不在乎，但是转身马上问我谁是丹铿，满脸愤怒，幸好雪季不长，再多几个月他心理一定会更难受。

墨西哥人还是日本人还是法国人
有一次一个客人对我说，你长的像日本人，但是看到你的名牌确是中国人。另外一次客人也对我说，不看你的脸只听你说话，我以为你是法国来的。还有一次在缆车上，客人问我从哪里来的，我说猜“听起来像墨西哥人”，我笑的要哭，难道英文这么差啊！

MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR INVESTMENT AT MOUNT SEYMOUR

North Vancouver, BC - Mount Seymour is excited to announce the addition of the 5 million dollar state of the art Mystery Peak Express quad chairlift.

The new detachable high speed Doppelmayr lift from Austria will be installed over the summer months in time for the 2012-2013 season. Mystery Peak Express promises to cut line-up times by more than half. The new chairlift will transport skiers and boarders to the top of the mountain in record time, taking just four minutes, compared to the currently-in-use lift, which takes nearly nine minutes.

The upgrade follows the installation of Vancouver's only fully covered magic carpet conveyer lift this season, demonstrating Mt Seymour's ongoing commitment to providing guests with the best possible on mountain experience.

Mt Seymour Resorts' President, Eddie Wood, states, "We are proud to be installing a new high speed chairlift for our guests. Mt Seymour has long been the choice of local snow enthusiasts who love the natural terrain, affordable rates, family atmosphere and one of the best terrain parks in the country."

This has been Mt Seymour's snowiest season in a decade, with a current base of more than 600cm of snow. Skiers and snowboarders have come out in near record numbers. Spring pass sales alone more than doubled compared to last year.

Everyone is encouraged to enjoy the final weeks on the hill and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in September, when passes will be 60 percent off!
