Phoenixtear, congratulations on your level 2.  Really showed your love in skiing to accomplish both L1 and L2 in the same season.
[Two of our ski buddies did the same, one passed L1/L2 in the same season too.  And my friend's friend, who is a Korean, got L1/L2/L3 all in one season and finally obtained his L4 few weeks ago (after 10 years working full time in Whistler).]

So your exam was on Sunday?  We were up at Backcomb last Saturday and saw like 30-40 people taking (what we thought) L3 exam.  We stayed to watch and couple Japanese skiers were pretty strong there.

Japanese skiers should go for JSIA, right?

Then your Korean buddie must be really dedicated to this snow sprot, it is amazing.

Both our level 2 and level 3 courses started on last Monday, and we finished earlier on Friday afternoon, but I thought level 3 course will probably run till the end of last week, because they have to take an "extra 2 days level 3 exam" session after the level 3 course. Yes I have also watched some Japanese guys skiing, they are very good.

Snow sports are very popular in Japan and Korean, since they have many spectacular big mountains and amazing annual snow fall records. I hope this sport will become much familiar to the Chinese public too and I wish more and more people will participate in this sport.

This Korean friend is really really dedicated to skiing. He moves to Canada all for skiing. However, Japan and Korea doesn't really have big mountains, none are tall in vertical at all.

Japan skiing theory is every body rotates and if you can't bit them, join them"
