When I got over the top of the steep section of the Sky Canyon, a rider was already there confessed, “I went the wrong way,” and I didn’t sense that he was joking, so I pointed him a way out. The escape route needs a toe-edge to ride out, but the rider was on the heel edge, I was afraid of that he cannot turn around on that steep slope, but he did, so he got out. The wall of the canyon was very icy and hard, after the skis under controlled slide backward, I thought it’s time for me to get out there too, so it went. So we both got out of a tough spot easy without undue harm. The moral of this story is don’t be afraid to change your mind when you are into over your head. That was a smart choice.
