Good poste ... agree ! Whenever I go a new place I will lower my " level" Be cautious and do not let your ego take over. You are in control - not someone else's opinion. Be realistic and really enjoy - yourself and the snow. Then even if you had an accident, after all your wise decisions, - it is only an accident and not bad risk management on your part.
