Yes I saw the hanging coffin and took some pictures. ( I will try to find them and post it) Apparenetly the most respected you are the higher the coffin will be. We saw some very high ones - especially in the small three gorges. I guess you may not be able to get into the three gorges during the old times because the water level was very low.
