Since you are doing inline skating now. You can try the jump 180 on inline first. The movements are very similar.

Since the skate is much shorter than ski, it is much easier to learn this trick on inline, and less falling when you are learning.

However, falling is inevitable for learning such high difficulty trick, good protection equipment is highly recommended.  Good luck and have fun.

If you insist in finding training machine for ski jump, sorry I can't help but good luck in your finding too.

Hi xxxx,

Thank you for your interest in our cutting edge ski & snowboard SkyTec Interactive simulators..

Our really unique simulators can be used very effectively for developing and tuning modern carving techniques not only off-season but also during a winter time before and after on-slope training sessions.

The first in North America special demo center equipped with these unique ski and snowboard simulators was allocated in Toronto and was used to widely introduce these machines to ski and snowboard professionals, racers and ski/snowboard enthusiasts during one year. Currently the center has been already closed and we are working on opening such center in US.

A lot of experts from Ontario ski/snowboard industry (coaches, instructors and racers) tried out the simulators in our demo center in Toronto, which is currently closed. We've received a lot of excellent feedback from them. Here is just a short excerpt from the review of Stefan Overgaard, former member of Canadian Alpine Ski team: "... Very impressive stuff! By far the closest thing to skiing that isn't actually skiing..." All experts have being amazed with the unique possibilities of our simulators to provide serious interactive training for the athletes and skiers/snowboarders of all levels from complete beginner to the racer. Even USA Alpine Ski Team has already expressed their interest in our simulators.

Skiing and snowboarding on the simulator is really extensive work out - 30 min on the simulator is equal to 5-7 hours on a real slopes.

Brief Description:

1. The Main Idea of these simulators is that direction of the centrifugal force applied to the skis/snowboard during movement on an arc of a turn is perpendicular to them. So the same centrifugal force with the same direction is applied to the skis/snowboard during their lateral movement on the SkyTec Interactive simulators.

2. The ski or snowboard platform is moved by power engines. Software interface allows setting up different maximum speed (up to 90km) of the skis/snowboard platform, but the moving speed depends on the edging angle that skier or snowboarder puts the skis or snowboard on. A good racer can go up to 55-60 degrees of edging! The edge angles of each ski or snowboard are displayed on the screen in real time. Instructor can set the different tasks for a trainee to perform certain amount of the turns with certain edge angle. Each time when the skier/snowboarder places the skis/snowboard at the required angle a computer gives a special sound. When the required amount of the turns is done there are some statistics displayed on the screen, including how many turns were done with the required angle and percentage of the proper left and right turns separately. The machines can simulate different types of snow conditions and different types of the slopes- from smooth surface to the bumpy slopes with different degrees of skis/snowboard vibration.

3. Practicing on these machines, especially under supervision of experienced ski/snowboard instructor, anyone can understand the theory of carving technique much better and learn how:
- To keep the skis parallel
- To keep the legs and shins parallel
- To work with the hips, knees and ankles
- To edge the skis on big angles (40 degrees and more)
- To control a body, the legs and hands at the right position
- To improve significantly forward/backward, vertical and lateral balance what is very important for carving
- To distribute correctly the weight between the skis while in different turn phases
- Extend properly outside (downhill) leg
- To make short and long radius turns at various speeds
- To level the ski tips
- To make quick efficient cross-over and cross-under movements
- To ski/board on different slopes and with different speeds

4. These machines can be used both for the most comprehensive specialized ski fitness programs and for general fitness programs. Workouts on SkyTec Interactive simulators can be specifically designed and tailored to:
- Build strength, power and muscular endurance in the legs, core, and back
- Drastically improve balance
- Increase quickness and agility
- Develop flexibility and movement coordination
- Significantly strengthen the joints
- Maximize all round fitness
- Reduce weight and tone up
- Achieve a desired body shape
- Get rid of stubborn fat deposits in those hard to shift core areas

SkyTec Interactive machines have the unique visually-emotional component that no one general fitness machine has. So instead of working countless hours on boring general fitness machines anyone can achieve better results in much less time while having a lot of fun practicing on ski/snowboard simulators.

5. SkyTec Interactive ski/snowboard simulators can be used to make the exciting shows with competitions on virtual slalom and giant slalom courses. There is even a special mode implemented for the competitions that allows connecting two simulators to each other in order to set up the parallel slalom courses.

- There will be a charge 10% applied to the total cost of purchase for the installation of the simulators on your site and also for training how to provide a regular maintenance and how to teach people on those simulators.
- Equipment can be delivered in 50-60 days after the order is placed.
- The simulators come with full one year warranty.
- Four Seasons Skiing & Snowboarding offers a full range of support levels to help meet your needs during both the warranty and post-warranty periods. Telephone or electronic support would be the first choice for high availability and low cost. In most cases we can solve your problems in these ways however when on-site service is required, a service technician will arrive at your site after remote problem determination is completed. A regular maintenance of the simulators is really very simple, quick, cheap and can be easily done by a customer. On-site training covering the regular maintenance is included into installation service.
- All hardware and software needed to run the simulators are included into standard package. The only optional equipment is a projector and projector screen that you can buy at store and add easily to your set up on a "plug and play" basis. The type of the projector and screen should be selected according to the size and light conditions of the facility where the simulators will be installed.

Three our simulators used for demo purpose in Toronto are currently on sale. The price for each of our two barely used President model would be $28900, which is $9000 less than a retail price; and we ask $19900 for the Leader Pro model, which is actually completely new machine - no sessions have been provided on this machine as everyone wanted to use the bigger one because there was a choice. It is $6000 less than the retail price. If somebody will buy all three simulators we will add two almost new snowboard platforms, which are optional, not included into the standard package, for FREE - it is $5600 value. There might also be some more incentives added to these items.

All simulators produced and sold since their invention in the early 2000's are still in use at all locations where they were installed and are in excellent shape. The machines are totally safe as there are 4 levels (!) of different safety features implemented to prevent any possibility of accident that could cause an injury.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you require any further information.

Sincerely yours,

Victor Bronshpitz
