Attacked by a llama while skiing yesterday

Yesterday afternoon, I was skiing with my kids at Thunder Ridge (NY) and there was a llama standing on the trail. My son (6) and my daughter (4) skied right over to check it out. It seemed nice enough at first, but then it put its front feet on my son's shoulders and knocked him over and tried to mount him. He kicked it off with his skis, and then it came over to daughter and did the same thing. I yanked her up and pushed her down the mountain, shouting "ski away from it! Ski fast!" She took off, so the llama went back over to son and got him down again. I got him up and we started skiing away, but the llama chased us until I beat it off with a ski pole. I didn't catch my daughter until halfway down the mountain. I've never seen her ski so fast.
All day, they've been telling people about how mama beat off the llama with a ski pole.
