I think you need to do stretching after skiing and do a bit of massage on the knee if you feel tired. Put some oil on it can help. Also I suggest take omega 3 or eat Salmon fish head.

Maybe you are bending constantly too much. You need flexibility not sustained constant bending.
Also do Tai Chi will help when you are not skiing.
