Would be grateful if someone knows the answers to the questions below:
In Europe if you lock skis do you need those locks with chain? or the keyed ones we use at Blue and MSLM. Also for boot dryers do you need a converter for 220 to 110 V ( same question for battery charger for boots ).
Also any other tips welcome!  Thanks

I don't remember what kind  ski locks they use. I think we didn't lock our skis at all.  I will confirm with JS . Yes, you definitely need a converter for all the electronics that only use 110v.

前辈是住ski in &out 的公寓吗?

This is what you are going to see at St. Moritz.

This picture was taken at Corviglia (The biggest one of the three in St. Moritz). We brought locks to there but I don't remember ever used it. The chance of using it is very low since most of the time you put aside your skis half way up on the mountain or top of the mountain, unlike here in Ontario we go in at the base. If someone wants to steal you skis then he/she must leave his/hers there, very unlikely to happen.

For your electrical devices, you not only need a transformer, from 230 - 250v to 110v, but also a socket converter, as switzerland uses different power outlet, like the one below:

Thank you so very much.  I note some commnets that there are thieves and i plan on renting skiis there so I better bring a chain lock as their racks are not equipeed with the key insert we have here in Ontario or Quebec.  For the electricial I have never seen any socket like that and wonder where I should go to purchase them.  Does Snowbunny have a clue?

We are staying at Club Med which is 5 minutes away from the slope.  There will be shuttle brnging us there.  I am only renting skiis as I was told it will be better off ( 128 for the week for sports and 150 for advanced skiis). Air Canada will charge 70 one way for the skiis anyway.  Also the rental skiis will be better suited for the snow condition there.
