Yes I feel the same for them. Work day and night to build the web and you should see how they capture their prey on their web! They sting them first and paralysed them. Then pull them in to eat ... 发表于 2011-8-30 22:36

No it is not mums. It is called Cup Plant. Some one who liked gardening gave me a couple of them when he came a couple years ago. Now i got 4 plants 发表于 2011-8-30 22:34

Yeah I have developed a real respect for the spider. I try not to ruin their web, They build it everywhere I will find some photo I took of their web - very ingenious. Also I really appreciate the cup plant - it is mathematically so perfect. Nature's wonders. The flowers are like 1 , 2, 4, 8, ... Of course it is not infinite due to limitation of season and growth but the progression is so in sync ....
