It was sunshine and beautiful with lots of snow. In the morning the whole mountain had snow guns spilling out and you can clearly see the West wind - blowing all the snow across the mountain- from west to east. It was cold -26 C plus a strong west wind. Hopeflully more runs will open for the January 2 day you guys from Montreal plan on coming up.
Yeah but today Dec 30 it is warm and there was lots of people and coming back at 3 p.m. was more than rush hour. People just collided without reasons. A girl in red hit me from the back ( she does not seem to know how to turn). Luckily I fell but no harm done as my skis were clipped at the back. Another snowboarder and skier followed my partner so much that they hit him when he tried to slow down. Again lucky no harm done. People did not seem to have any sense of antifcipation of the traffic. The snow and weather were both good today. Tomorrow it will be even warmer - about -1 or -2.
Yes i will be skiing tomorrow by myself. Usually lunch around 1 pm at grand Manitou. Black helmet. Blue or yellow jacket. Bllack or greenish or yellow pants. Smallish. Feel free to say hello!
Today is »Dec 31 and Tremblant has 60 trails open. Even Soleil side is open so all four sides are open now. However the bottom of Soleil is very icy and who goes there should be quite careful. It snowed all day today so the condition is generally very good specially on the North side. However the top of the mountain was quite foggy in the monring and you cannot see much. The lower bottom is very good.
