I watched this on omni 11 tuesday night? Found it quite good. Anyone watched it?

There are showing it every Tuesday at 10 -midnight - 4 eposiode at a time. Last week it showed that Liu Po came back ffrom the US to try to get Anna to leave her husband and go back to the US and Anna decided to stay. It was very moving. I also like the song.

I have watched Wang GUI and Anna at OMNI 2 every Tuesday from beginning. The music came from former Soviet Union. 海清, acted as Anna, is a popular actress right now. But she played so so in this serial.
It was a hard decision to choose between her current husband and first lover. I think it is no right or wrong answer. The most important thing is both men loves Anna. No matter who she chose she should have a happy life. It would be easier to live with her current husband. It might be challenge to go with Liu Bo even that was her forever dream.

我不知到这种电视剧是不是叫肥皂剧。没什么悬念，没有什么令人深省之处，有的只是接近平淡的生活细节，很现实。想看，但也没有欲望把它搜出来一口气看完，或者再去搜搜剧评，漏几段也无大碍。生活是很实际的。上山下乡那代人的生活总是有很多难忘的故事。

I do not have a lot of background of the period they were ltalking about but I like the show because somehow it touches me just because it shows simple lives. The acting is very subdue I think compared to all the action type things I see on TV. I like the different characters as well, like Anna's teacher, her mom and I like the commentary which you do not have in soap opera. It is also a good story to think about what is love.

I like Anna's mom, too. She always think positively and she could handle family conflict in peaceful way. I like watch this show because I feel it is close to reality.

白桦林－－因为片尾有署名词曲作者朴素，更正一下，这首歌是不是来自苏联民歌，我不知道，但很显然它具有苏联民歌的风格。这有一个简谱白桦林简谱

Thank you very much! Now I have the whole song. BTW I think the name of the tree is White Birch - it is a tree very revered by the natives. We have lots of them up north. The natives use the bark of the birch tree to wrtie things on.

恩，是先有小说，然后改编成电视剧的，多伦多图书馆就可以借到，我就是到加国后狂读了N本中文小说。
