I try not to ski till I am too tired. I will stop when I am just getting tired although I can still do last run. I will skip the last run. That way I try to preserve my skiing assets - for another day which will lead to another week, month and another year. Getting too tired in skiing is not a good idea - in the long run. Sustainability is my aim - cause skiing is too much fun to give up. Also do stretch exercise after skiing to relax the muscle in the hip - tightness there can affect your knee. Eat food good for your joints - like collagen and omega 3, fish oil ( I like Salmon fish head) etc. I am relatively OK compared to my friends who have skiied for a long time. When you do multiple days of skiing it is even more important not to get too tired each day. Pace yourself. Doing moguls can also hurt yourself if you pound on your knees too much. Hope your knees can last a long time!作者: luvski 时间: 2012-2-29 00:01
