标题: Clear lens Goggle - found it!

I finally found a Goggle with clear lens - good for night skiing !  I remember someone was asking about it - maybe Bingster.  I bought it at Sign of the skier.  It is Cascade  by  Smith Optics  and the lens tint is "clear".   $39,95 plus tax.

Thanks snowspring. It is me who was looking for clear ski goggles.

I have already bought a clear goggle online. The problem of buying these things online is that I won't be sure about the touch and feel of the goggle before it's delivered to me. I don't quite like the one I got. But I think I want to try it out first.

Which brand did you get?  and the cost?   I only saw the Smith one at Sign of the Skier which has clear lens.  and they have a whole wall of display.  I tried it and kind of like the feel and it was not expensive.  It is good to know that another brand offers clear lens.

昨天在单位看杂志,bolle有一种雪镜,有点类似墨镜里面的渐变原理,可以适应任何环境。不知道价格多少。

I bought SME of Smith Optics. I bought from ebay.ca. It's new. The totall cost including shipping is $34. Before I bought it, I searched many places and couldn't find anything. I need OTG goggles. Maybe that's why it's harder for me to find snow goggles.

From the description of the SME goggle, it's in moto series. So I guess it's for motor sport. But I asked the seller and he told me that SME can be used for skiing as well.

But after I received the goggle, I don't quite like it. You know, the price is cheap. I shouldn't put too much expectations on it :)
But I think it's usable.

Last night, while searching for information about your snow goggle, I found this web site listed lots of goggles,
http://www.smithoptics.ca/

If I am not happy with the clear goggle I got from ebay, I might buy another one. Next time, I will stay with something more pricy :)

Thanks.

Also I find that at the beginning of the season I alsways go to Tremblant and they make tons of snow in the begiining days.  So the mountain is full of fog and you cannot see.  I often find a clear goggle helpful under those circumstances.

snowspring  Thanks I went to the website and in fact you can buy other lens so perhaps i can get another lens and make it a night and day use goggle  发表于 2 小时前

Have you found any goggle which can be used in both day and night? I searched around in several web sites. But OTG modulator goggles are hard to find. I remember I saw one on a web site with variable light filter rate from 26% to 62%.

I used to have a Anon which has two lenses and I change them depending on night or day.  But I have lost it.   However Lupo said there is the modulator ones - a new one.  I have never tried it.  Might be a good one to try.
