This weekend had been perfect. Kayaking was such fun - so many things to see. I captured some in photos but some I took video but I cannot put them on. Here are the main events:
1. Marcella checking out a monarch butterfly caterpillar - very studious
2. Interesting mushrooms - these are so pretty
3. Saw Mr. Beaver combing himself on the beach then swim back to his home ( video , no photo)
4. Mallard ducks - duck country families growing big
5. 20 -30 turkey vulchers, falcons, eagles - all riding high in the current of hot air! 23 degrees weather today(video only)
6. the water was like a mirror - fall colour coming in
7. Mr. Great Blue heron walking on a deserted beach
8. Turtle families - can you count how many were there in the picture?
