Do not underestimate the small resorts, I keep saying that. Litltle hills like Chicopee can produce national team members like Van der Beek and Blue Mountain had produced Tod Brooker and Paposky - both were world champions for the Canucks. Jim Morris - the director of ski school at Mount St Lous - yes our 500 ' tall mslm has been on the interski for canada for two times. Litlle snowvalley had Rob Butler hosting ski television for umptieth years. CSIA has a trip organized for members to go to the interski at St Anton and I was looking for people to go with me last year. But you have to make a commitment 6 months before hand and pay the deposit. However because of work and surgery this Jan, and my "ideal heros" did not make the team I decided not to pursue. Demo team is the best of level 4. Thier selection for CSIA iis very difficult through an ardous process and you have to pass several selection to narrow it down to 10 to represent Canada 5 from east and 5 from west. This is the first time I see 10 from Casi. Maybe it was also 10 before but I have never seen them. I only see one or 2 snow boarders for Canada on the video for the 2007 interski. But in those daysCASI did not have level 4s. They only have level 3. That means CASI has evolved and is getting fully developed. Great for SNowboarding development in Canada.
